At Rocky River our staff strives in bringing history, tradition, and elegance together. Whether you are planning a wedding, birthday, or celebration of any kind we want to offer the best space for you to create your dream come true. While keeping historic tradition alive, we also believe in starting new ones. From our two elegant bridal suites to our second story balcony that overlooks the front lawn, we believe that it is always a good time to start new traditions. How else would history be made?
One other tradition we are starting is our own blog. We will be periodically posting stories about our own clients, inspirations, and histories over the plantation. In doing so we hope to build a stronger community with all of our current and future clients. With that being said, we thought what better way to kick-off our blog than to answer questions you may have about the venue. Below are a few of our frequently asked questions and their answers. How can I see your event centers? We would be happy to give you a personal tour. Just contact us at (864)367-6929 or email email@example.com and let us know a day and time that works best for you.
How do your venue rental fees work? Our venue fees operate on a sliding scale based on location, the preferred date and time of your event. You can contact us for a consulation!
How may I reserve a date to book? In order to reserve a location and specific date and time, we require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit. The non-refundable deposit does go towards the overall cost of your event. The balance is due 90 days prior to your event. A refundable DAMAGE DEPOSIT of $500.00 to be paid by separate check or money order. This is returnable to the CLIENT(S) up to two (2) weeks after the event has been held - once property has been inspected for any potential damage from special event or wedding.
May we take bridal pictures prior to our event? We would be honored to be the backdrop for your bridal photos. We ask that you schedule your photo shoot with our facility's director so your shoot does not conflict with any events. Please confirm availability 5 days prior to your photo shoot. Bridal portraits require a $100.00 sitting fee unless you are a contracted client. In addition, we require a release form to be used for the venues marketing purposes.
